I hate to break this to you

I popped over to our local shop this evening to buy some milk. It's one of those shops that sells everything from bread and milk to newspapers, wine and sellotape. Today I also noticed that it is selling Special Edition KitKat bars. Special Edition EASTER KitKat bars. In December. Kill me now.

  1. Nooooooo!

Mind you, Lidl has been full of Christmas stuff since the beginning of October. How long is it until Easter?

  2. Nah, too busy committing hari kari with the Christmas pie lifter.

  3. Does that mean we can bypass the whole bother of Christmas then?

Gawd. They'll be putting the bikinis out in the shops once the Boxing Day sales have started next weekend!

  4. Are you sure they weren't just left over from last Easter. Compare the sell by date with a kit kat from another shop, if they're about 8 months apart then it's last years stock. If it's anything like our local shop then I'd double check. Still, be a shame to see them go to waste.

  5. Hmmm. I know the shop you mean. I'd say it was last month's Easter kitkats! Actually ... How the hell is an Easter kitkat any different from a bog standard kitkat??
