Haven't you already seen Halifax? Fog, seagulls, Celtic musicians, signs advertising lobster rolls? It's time to venture inland. Like, say, Ottawa. You have several very nice and spacious cupboards you can stay in. Mine would fit the whole family....
And we'd take you out for beer and eggs. And I'd let your toast get cold before I buttered it. And XUP would get wine and cheese.
Ottawa is a lovely spot to visit; and you have some eager friends here, too. Actually three; the two above and me. Mind you, Halifax is a fine town. I do kids' food awfully well, since XUP and alison are already catering adult stuff.
There had better be a side-trip to Ottawa on the agenda this time! There's more to Canada than Halifax you know.
ReplyDeleteI'm always thinking of an entirely different Halifax. It's confusing for me.
ReplyDeleteWOOT! Where are you visiting this time?

You really should give some thought to this.
Inspiring!!! We're verging on buying tickets to Germany for winter break... hope it'll happen for us as well! Way to make vacation a priority!
ReplyDeleteMaybe we can plan to meet next year. New Hampshire isn't that far from Nova Scotia!

ReplyDeleteI too thought: Your flying to Yorkshire? That's a bit lush, surely.
ReplyDeleteOoh, exciting adventure, how fabulous. I can come with you, yes?
ReplyDeleteSounds great! I am currently planning a trip to Prince Edward Island and Cape Breton Natl. Park, Nova Scotia!
ReplyDeleteOoooh, sounds fabulous. Well done on being so organised!
ReplyDeleteHopefully we'll have the whole harbour-raw sewage business straightened away before then ;)
